Understand the LGBTQIA+ headlines and keep track of the latest queer content and perspectives. QueerAF is written by Jamie Wareham and another queer creative each week.
π¬ This week:
- Asda: Putting community journalism into practice, we helped a QueerAF reader get answers from the supermarket brand that'd repeatedly deadnamed them alongside a transphobic incident in a store.
- Trans suicides: The government responded to our journalism with an independent report and called our reporting irresponsible - we point out the hypocrisy in the argument they make against us reporting on their failures.
- Self-determination: It's a key principle of feminism, but one so-called 'trans exclusionary radical feminists' have forgotten. We take it back to the basics in the Queer Gaze.
Skip the doomscrolling and support queer creatives instead. We are QueerAF β and so are you.
